victoria memorial

This bronze panel at Victoria Memorial at Kolkata was initially executed for the statue of Late Earl of Minto the Viceroy General of India (1905 to 1910) later on presented to the Victoria Memorial, marvellous piece of art.
Details of this bronze panel are shown in these pictures

The facial expressions are shwon very intricately in this bronze panel..

...happiness written on the face of this child as he is marching ahead may be in a procession ..

.....or feeling on the face of this who is admiring looking at the child....

Hide and Seek by SUN at Victoria Memorial

At Victoria Memorial the sun is setting for the
First Empress Queen Victoria.......

...........No this is not a trophy,
sun chose to hold the lamp post at the Victoria Memorial from its neck........

........here sun prefers to invisebly hide behind the shade of the lamp post
at Victoria Memorial..........

.......the lamp post holds the mighty SUN.......

.........relaxing in the pond after a hectic day.........

.......hiding behind the trees....you naughty........

...............somewhere it is holding the lamp post by its neck and
here it is peeping beneath the lamp post............

........up there it was hiding behind the shade of the lamp post
and here it is reflecting below the lamp post........

........up in trees and grills......

.......giving light to the thrown of the Empress Victoria
lamp posts are faithfully accompanying the mighty SUN.......

.......bye bye Queen Victoria, enjoy the company
